Our story

Founded in 2003 in Paris, ICE-FRANCE is a consulting firm specialising in institutional development, governance and capacity building support in Africa and worldwide.

Our mission

To support governments, institutions and organisations in designing and implementing lasting reforms, mobilising high-level expertise grounded in local realities.

Our journey

2003

Foundation

ICE-FRANCE founded in Paris by Pierre Aumont. First contracts with the AFD in Senegal and Mali.

2007

Regional expansion

Opening of a representative office in Dakar. First European Union-funded projects in West Africa.

2011

Health division

Creation of the health department with the arrival of Jean-Luc Bertrand. First health systems strengthening projects in Cameroon and Guinea.

2015

East Africa push

Extension of activities to East Africa. First World Bank contracts in Kenya and Ethiopia.

2018

150 projects

Milestone of 150 completed projects in 35 countries. ISO 9001 certification of our project management processes.

2023

20 years of expertise

Celebrating ICE-FRANCE's 20th anniversary. Launch of a new strategy focused on ecological transition and climate governance.
